Mildred "Millie" Buskirk, 70 of Carmichaels, died Wednesday, October 24, 2012
She was born October 30, 1941, a daughter of the late Milfred and Martha Rafferty Harvey.
Mrs. Buskirk was a longtime teacher with the Head Start Program in Greene County.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Carmichaels and the Head Start Program.
On April 15, 1960 she married, Charles "Bunny" Buskirk, who died August 28, 1998.
Surviving are a daughter, Charlene Bird and her husband Bryan of Carmichaels; a son, Eric Buskirk and his wife Shayla of Carmichaels; a son-in-law, Matthew Duane Conard of Nemacolin; three grandsons, B.K. Bird and his girlfriend Renee, Remington Buskirk and a grandson to be born in December, Ryder Michael Buskirk; four sisters, Rosetta Tanner of Richeyville, Dorothy Harvey of Little Mexico, Shirley Naylor (Bill) of Cleveland, OH, and Debbie Lohr (Bob) of Carmichaels; a brother, John Harvey of Little Mexico.
Deceased in addition to her husband is a daughter, Martha Conard; three sisters, Nancy Boothe, Martha Rossell, and Alberta Harvey; two brothers, Skip Cybak and Milfred Harvey.
Friends will be received from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday in the Behm Funeral Homes, Inc., 1477 Jefferson Road, Jefferson, Gregory P. Rohanna, supervisor, where services will be held on Saturday, October 27, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Kenneth Summers officiating. Interment will follow in Laurel Point Cemetery, Carmichaels.
