Minnie Rae Grimes, 92, of Robersonville passed away peacefully at Golden Living, Tarboro NC on July 17th 2012 following an extended illness surrounded by her children.
She was born December 9, 1919 to the late Samuel Taylor Everett and Dorothy Johnson Everett of Robersonville.
Mrs Grimes was preceded in death by her husband George David Grimes Jr.
A graveside service will be held Saturday July 21, 2012 at 11:00am at the Robersonville Cemetery.
Surviving are her children Elizabeth Grimes of Raleigh, Samuel Grimes and wife Debbie of Garner, Rae Nobles and husband David of Stokes, George Grimes and Fiance' Debbie Townsend of Robersonville and Charlotte Smith and husband Tim of Wake Forest, 11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
The family would like to thank Johnnie Mae Yancy and the staff of Golden Living for their loving and compassionate care during her extended illness.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions would be greatly appreciated to the First Christian Church 126 South Main St Robersonville NC 27871
