Funeral services for Mrs. Myrtle Cunningham will be held Saturday at 2pm in the chapel of Stephens Funeral Home. Dr. Danny Lanier will be officiating. Special music will be provided by Bro. Paul Davis. Burial will follow in Tinnin Rawson Cemetery.
Mrs. Cunningham, 75, of Meridian, passed away Wednesday at Golden Living Nursing Center.
She was a wonderful homemaker and will be remembered by her family as a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was blessed with artistic skills in sewing, quilting, ceramics and stained glass, leaving treasures that her family will enjoy for years to come. Mrs. Cunningham was a Christian and a member of Northcrest Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, W.C. Cunningham; son Jerry Cunningham and wife Leisa; daughter Beth Curtis and husband Greg; grandchildren Heather Lewis and husband Daniel, Breanna and Jacob Cunningham, Trevor and Halle Curtis and great grandchild Brett Lewis.
She was one of twelve siblings who were raised in Wayne County.
Visitation will be held Saturday from 12pm to service time at the funeral home. Friends may sign and leave comments on the online register book at www.stephensfunerals.com.
