Nancy S. (Fetters) Alpeter, age 74, went home to be with the Lord on August 16, 2010 at her residence in Bethlehem Twp. She was born to the late Kenneth and Myrtle (Houvig) Fetters on May 17, 1936 and attended Navarre High School.
Nancy was a member of St. Clements Church for many years. She worked at Pettys Marine, Lodge Nursing Home and did many crafts. She served many years on the Bethlehem Fire and Rescue Ladies Auxiliary.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her granddaughter, and her great granddaughter.
She is survived by husband of 56 years, Robert Alpeter; children, Timothy (Diane) Alter, Brenda (David) Thompson, all of Navarre; brother, Kenneth L. (Susan) Fetters of Tennessee; special nephew, Ronnie (Joni) Newell of California. She leaves five grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; ten nieces and nephews; and numerous friends.
Funeral services will be held 11am, Saturday in the Karlo-Feucht Funeral Home, 5000 Everhard Rd. NW, Canton. Burial in Sunset Hills Burial Park. Friends may call one hour before services at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to St. Paul's United Church of Christ, 21 West Wooster St., Navarre, OH 44662 or a charity of your choice.
