Nancy C. (Martins) Pavao, age 49, of Swansea, passed away at her residence, January 14, 2013. She was the wife of Luis M. Pavao to whom she had been married for the past 25 years.
Born in Fall River, a daughter of the late William I. and Anne F. (Roberts) Martins, she was a lifetime area resident and a graduate of BMC Durfee High School, Class of 1981.
A cake designer for over 15 years, she worked for Sam's Club in Seekonk. A homemaker, animal lover and great cook, she enjoyed camping, spending time with her family and her chocolate lab "Bear."
Surviving in addition to her husband, one sister; Eleanor B. Anctil and her husband Paul of Fall River, one brother; William I. Martins, Jr. of Fall River, several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews including, Christopher Anctil, Sarah Ducharme, Nathan and Travis Anctil, Godson; Zachary Moniz and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and in-laws.
Her Funeral will be held Saturday, January 19, 2013 at 8:00AM from the WARING-SULLIVAN HOME OF MEMORIAL TRIBUTE at BIRCHCREST, 189 Gardners Neck Rd., Swansea, followed by a Funeral Mass at 9:00AM in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 530 Gardners Neck Rd., Swansea. Visiting hours Friday from 5:00PM to 8:00PM.
