Nanette Marie Ward-Burton beloved wife, mother and daughter passed away in Grand Prairie, Texas, at her home, on February 7, 2013.
Nanette was a graduate of Skyline High School and The University of North Texas. She worked for CEC Entertainment Inc. for a number of years and she also served on the Chuck E Cares committee. Nanette was an ordained Deaconess at Ambassadors for Christ Cross Cultural Church Ministries under the leadership of Pastor Yvette Devine.
She enjoyed many friendships and was devoted to her family and parents. Her children were the joy of her life.
Nanette is survived by her husband Everett, her children Tiffany, Aundrea, Saundrea, Evan and Elyas; her devoted father Willie K. Ward, stepmother Sandra Townes-Ward, her devoted mother Willie Mae Benjamin; her sister Rosalyn Greer, one uncle and one aunt, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 6:30-8:30pm Friday February 15, 2013 at Bean Massey Burge Funeral Home on Beltline Road. Services will be at 11 am, Saturday, February 16, 2013 at The Inspiring Body of Christ Church located at 7710 S. Westmoreland Road, Dallas, TX 75237.
A memorial fund has been established for Nanette and Everett's sons at Wells Fargo in the name of Nanette Burton (Nanette Burton Benefit Memorial Fund).
