Naomi Sue "Susie" Bosserman, 65, Kansas City, died peacefully Friday, May 10, 2013, with family at her side. She was born November 3, 1947, in Dixon, Missouri, to Harold and Gladys (Roberson) Elkins. She graduated from Topeka West, Topeka, Kansas, in 1965. She attended Missouri Southern University. She married John Bosserman December 31, 1975 in Belton, Missouri. She was a loving wife and mother who opened her home and heart to many extended family and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; step-father, Elvin "Duge" Evans; and brother, Roger Evans. Survivors include her husband; children Lori Bosserman, Overland Park, Kansas; Roger Bosserman and wife, Kate, El Dorado, Kansas; Stephen Bosserman and wife, Kiffany, Las Vegas, Nevada; and Rebekah (Bosserman) Woods and husband, Bill, De Soto, Kansas; step-children Haven Gunther, Overland Park, Kansas; Julie Thompson and husband, Mark, Overland Park, Kansas; and Joni Johnson and husband, Tim, Wichita, Kansas; sisters Trudy (Elkins) Zendejas and husband, Hilario, Raymore, Missouri; Jeanie (Evans) Bare and husband, Phil, Nixa, Missouri; grandchildren Sophia Bosserman, Trent Bosserman, Berkleigh Woods, Logan and Charity Gunther, Nate Thompson, and Josi, Trenton and Tate Johnson; numerous nieces, nephews, dear friends, and beloved pet, Baby Girl. Susie will always be remembered for her Love of God and for sharing her faith with all those who gravitated to her home. Many evenings were filled with friends, love, laughter, games and great conversations. A service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 13, 2013 at Blue Ridge Baptist Temple/Cross Pointe Baptist Church, 10306 Blue Ridge Boulevard, Kansas City, Missouri.
