Naomi enjoyed learning about the places she lived, and sharing her knowledge with her husband and daughters.
Many in New Bern came to know Naomi during her years working as a seamstress at The Fashion Center, a women's clothing store on Middle St. A craftswoman, Naomi crocheted and sewed her family's clothing. With an artistic touch, Naomi also created handmade Christmas ornaments. An voracious reader, a truth-seeker and a woman of great faith, Naomi would read the Bible from Genesis to Revelation. Always welcoming with a ready smile, Naomi was kind to everyone, and she was loved by all who knew her.
