Mr. Nathaniel John Smith, Jr. - a native of Creola, Alabama and a longtime resident of Mobile, Alabama, died Sunday, January 6, 2013 in at the Allen Memorial Home. Mr. Smith was a veteran of the U. S. Army and U.S. Air Force.
He is survived by his daughter, Cynthia Chapman of Daphne, Alabama; two grandchildren, Angel Dahlgren of Mobile, Alabama and Joseph Chapman of Satsuma, Alabama; two great-grandchildren, Tori and Talan Dahlgren both of Mobile, Alabama; nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M. on Thursday, January 10, 2013 from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home, Dauphin Street, with Chaplain Ron Pierce officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 P.M. until 8 P.M. on Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at the funeral home.
Interment will be in Pine Crest Cemetery.
