Natverlal Maganbhai Amin, 90, Clearwater, Florida, passed away peacefully on April 22, 2020. He was born in Nairobi, Kenya on July 19, 1929. He was the loving husband of Pushpa Amin, who passed away in 1997. He is survived by their two sons Siddharth Amin (Stephanie Ross) and Dr. Devendra Amin (Dr. Dipti Amin), six grandchildren (Kush, Lavinia, Adeeti, Adina, Olivia, and Alexander), and two great-grandchildren (Ari and Arnav). He is also survived by three sisters (Manjulaben, Neelaben, and Renukaben).
At a very young age, he went to live with his grandmother in Nadiad, India and later attended college in Ahmedabad. Upon graduating he returned to Kenya to teach chemistry and in 1957 he went to England to attend Sunderland Pharmacy School. After completing his degree he brought his family and over time, his extended family to settle in England. Initially, he worked in a pharmacy in Golders Green, London, then a few years in Oxhey, and then the family moved to Tolworth, Surrey. Finally he was able to buy his own pharmacy in Wimbledon which he ran successfully for many years before retiring in 1985 to West Palm Beach, Florida for the warm weather and year round golf. He and Pushpa travelled extensively in those early years of retirement, taking many trips throughout the world. He loved traveling with his family. After Pushpa's all too early passing in 1997 he moved to Clearwater and lived with Devendra, Dipti, Adeeti and Adina. He was an avid golfer and became a member of Belleair Country Club, playing golf three times a week (weather permitting) up until a month ago.
The family thanks all the staff at Morton Plant Hospital's B4 Intensive Care Unit for their wonderful care and dedication during his illness.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Hindu Temple of Florida, 5509 Lynn Road, Tampa, FL 33624 or Metropolitan Ministries, 2002 N Florida Ave, Tampa, FL 33602.

We will miss Nat Amin at Belleair Country Club. He was a wonderful member of the club and was still trying to perfect his game right up until the end. He loved golf and was given a gift to still be playing at 90 years old. Thank you Nat for being a great friend of our members and staff. Rest In Peace!
