Nella Jeanette Richards, 89, of Jacksonville passed away on November 13, 2012. She was born in Winter Haven, FL to the late Lloyd and Daisy Harvey. She was a long time resident of Jacksonville, FL where she loved to work in her yard. Jeanette was a devoted mother and well-loved family member. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Edward Richards, Sr.; brother, Virgil Harvey; and sisters, Hazel Taylor and Helen Juanita Taylor. She is survived by her son, Jack Edward Richards, Jr. (Sylvia) of Atlanta, GA; three granddaughters, Michelle Donnelly (Jerry), Shannon McMains (Donny) and Jenne Garrett (Travis); 8 great-grandchildren; brother, Vernon Harvey (Jackie); sister, Margie Davis (Carlton); and numerous nieces and nephews. A Visitation will be held 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Friday, November 16th in Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home of Mandarin. A Graveside Service will be 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 17th in Magnolia Cemetery, 222 N. Park St. in DeFuniak Springs, FL.
