Nell Dilling Franklin, 85, died January 20, 2013 after a long illness. She was born December 6, 1927 in Gaston County to the late Marvin and Edna Gibson Dilling.
Nell is survived by five nieces and nephews, Ellen Singleton, Kathy Bullock, Terry Dilling, Bruce and Dan Wise; several great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Billy A. Dilling and Betty Dilling Wise.
The family will have a private service.
