Nora Nilda Alfonso, 79, of Palm Springs passed away suddenly on April 6, 2012 in Atlantis, Fl.
She was born, raised, and educated in Cuba earning her Ph.D at the University of Santiago.
She then moved to this country in 1963 and settled in Palm Beach County. In 2005 Nora retired
after many years, as a teacher, with the Palm Beach County School Board.
She is survived by her 2 children; Hector Acosta of Royal Palm Beach, and Nora Acosta of West Palm Beach, and
2 grandchildren; Alex Acosta and Amanda Sardinas. She also leaves her loving companion of 18 years
Froilan Rondon of Palm Springs., and her brother Homera Alfonso of New York City.
Her family will receive friends on Monday evening between 6:00 & 8:00 PM at the funeral home
where her funeral will be conducted on Tuesday at 10:00 AM. Nora will be laid to rest immediately following at Lake Worth Memory Gardens. Her funeral arrangements have been entrusted to
