Norma Thelma Albright, of Morrow GA passed away after a long illness at the age of 83. She was born in Hapeville GA on April 8,1928 to the late Clifford and Grace Barber. She was preceded in death by her husband, Maurice Albright, and two older sisters, Marion Shollenberger and Doris White. She is survived by her daughters, Vicki Lewis and her husband Mark Lewis of Columbia, S.C., and Mandi Albright of Morrow, GA; sister, Jean Akin of Buchanan, GA.; Granddaughters Cinnamon Sullivan and her husband Eric and Tiffany Frady and her husband Jason all of the Atlanta area. She is also survived by great-granddaughters Savannah and Summer Sullivan and Collins Brooke Frady and numerous other family and friends.
One of her "claims to fame" was the fact that she was Jitterbug Champion of Georgia in the 1940's.
A Memorial Service honoring the life of Norma Albright will be held in the Chapel of the funeral home on Friday, November 4 at 11 a.m. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Marcus Stroke Center at Grady Memorial Hospital.
