I am sorry to hear of Dick´s passing. I often thought of him and wondered where he was. We met in the 50´s ata regatta at ToledoYacht Club, sent many letters back and forth and met several times after that. Came across one of his letters with his father´s firm and decided to look on the internet. Glad to know his wife and children enjoyed sailng and my family does.

We were so sad to hear about Dick's passing. He was a great neighbor and a great character to enjoy a conversation or an afternoon beverage with while watching Lake Wawasee. Now he is at peace and his suffering has been put to rest. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Barb and her family during this mournful time. God will heal the pain with time but the memories will continue forever. May God Bless.

To all of the Boerger family, my sincere condolences. Growing up on and around Lake Wawasee meant that you knew who Dick was. He was one of the first to sail a Hobie Cat on the lake, and convinced my own father that we needed one. A great sailor, a great friend to my family, a great father, and a great man. You will be missed, Dick. I raise a toast to you. Safe Sailing, sir!
