Welsh - Odile Marie Ardoin, 83, passed away Monday, December 3, 2012 in a local hospital.
She was a member of St. John Evangelist in Lacassine. She loved to cook and spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren and also enjoyed talking on the phone with her friends.
She is survived by her sons, William "Billy" Ardoin and wife Charlotte of Lacassine; Patrick Wade Ardoin and wife Angie of Jennings; daughter, Betty A. LaBouve and husband Bill of Welsh; daughter-in-law, Juanita Ardoin of Lacassine brother, James Thibodeaux of Youngsville; sisters, Joyce Louviere of Welsh; Peggy Thibodeaux of Youngsville; twelve grandchildren, twenty seven great grandchildren and one on the way and one great great grandchild on the way.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Julian Ardoin; sons, Arlen Keith Ardoin, Julian Ray Ardoin , great grandson, Carter Lee LaBouve.
Her service will be 1:00 p.m., Thursday, December 6, 2012 at Hixson Funeral Home of Welsh. Father Herbert May will officiate. Visitation will be Wednesday from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a rosary at 6:30 p.m. and a scripture service at 7:00 p.m. and resume Thursday from 8:00 a.m. until time of service.
