Onesimo V. Acosta, 86, of San Luis, Arizona, passed away on Thursday, September 20, 2012, in Yuma, Arizona. Onesimo was born on April 27, 1926, in Morelia, Michoacan, Mexico, he was an agricultural laborer.
A visitation will be 3 to 11 p.m. Sunday. September 23, 2012 at Johnson Mortuary Chapel, with rosary at 7 p.m. A Muneral Mass will be 9 a.m. Monday, September 24, 2012 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Yuma Pioneer Cemetery.
Onesimo is survived by his son, Jose Acosta of San Luis, Arizona. Onesimo was preceded into death by his parents Jesus and Luciana Acosta.
