It is with great sadness that the family of Orfelina Fernandez Ruiz announces her passing on Saturday April 28, 2012 at the age of 88. She was born in Caibarien, Cuba. She taught us that love never fails. To be harsh with ourselves and gentle to others. To keep silence of others faults. That honest work is the best entertianment. That serving others is the true vocation of life. She shows us the way with her example.
She is survived by her children Alfredo & Gladys Fernandez, Alina & Edwin Rosado, Ruben Fernandez and Miriam & Jose Pacheco. Her niece Alida Willson and her children Laurie and Craig. As well as the grandchildren Jose & Sandra, Alex & Andrea, Jessica, Edlin & Patrick, Edwin Ivan, Alvin & Laura, Eleny, and Elizabeth. And the great- grandchildren Jeremiah, Jasmine, and Gabriel Benaiah.
She will always be forever remembered. We look forward to seeing her in the resurrection.
A viewing and service will be held on Tuesday May 1, 2012 from 7-9 at the Gonzalez Funeral Home on Dale Mabry. Memorial donations in memory of Orfelina may be made to the Immanuel SDA Church 7611 Sheldon Rd. Tampa, FL 33615.
