Ottiwell E. Adams, age 89, was born in Luther, Michigan on October 4, 1921 and passed away on December 20, 2010. He was preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Esther 'Pauline' Adams. Surviving are his four children, Ottiwell Jr., 'Gene' (Shirley), Tom (Lorraine), Ruth (Bob) Kelsch, Nancy (Ken) Schmitt; 11 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; 15 great-great-grandchildren; and a brother, Alfred Adams. Ott was a veteran of the United States Navy serving during World War II and was a lifetime member of VFW Post #446. He retired from Bastian Blessing. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at Ever Rest Funeral Home and Chapel. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 28, from 5 to 7 p.m. and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday, from 10 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Memorial contributions may be directed to the American Cancer Society.
