Ozealia (Zee) Usher Anderson, 86, passed away peacefully at her daughters home on Saturday, January 22, 2011 under the care of Hospice Savannah, Inc.
Ozealia was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Usher of Brooklet, GA. She was born in Bulloch County and graduated from Brooklet High School. After attending Georgia Southern College in Statesboro, GA. she moved to Savannah, GA. She retired from the Savannah Gas Company after many years of services. After retirement she became a loyal employee of Wal-Mart on Whitemarsh Island in Savannah as a cheerful, smiling door greeter until she was 83. She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church and the "Invincible Bible Class" Sunday school Class of Calvary Baptist Temple.
Ozealia was preceded in death by her husband, Deral E. Anderson; parents, Eldon and Louzo Usher; brothers, Darty, Dean. Carson and Paul.
She is survived by one brother, Olan (Nancy) Usher of Ledo, Texas, a son, Edward (Pat) Anderson of Moultrie, GA., a daughter, Linda (Jerry) Evans of Savannah, GA; grandchildren, Sean Evans of Savannah, GA., Church Anderson of Phoenix, AZ., Georgia Lee, McKenzie, and Grady of Moultrie, GA., Sherrie Nettles of Rincon, GA. and Shannon Evans of Los Angeles, CA., and several great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held at Fairhaven Funeral Home in Garden City, GA. at 3:00 pm Tuesday January 25, 2011 with private Interment at a later date.
