Pascal "Doug" Adkins, 65, Kokomo, passed away on Sunday, December 6, 2009, at Howard Regional Health System. He was born February 3, 1944, in Bald Knob, Arkansas, to Delter and Leona (Duncan) Adkins. On January 12, 1974, he married Brenda DeVault, and she survives.
He adored his wife, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He was an avid fisherman and hunter and enjoyed watching NASCAR and football.
In addition to his wife, Brenda Adkins, he is survived by five sons, Brent Allen (Tonya) Adkins, William "Chad" (Kimberly) Adkins, Jeremy Douglas (Danielle) Adkins, Rick (Patty) Adkins, and Gary Adkins; one daughter, Beverly Stracner; 13 grandchildren, Hali, Kevin, Jaryd, Anna, Jakob, Logan, Matthew, Chad, Jessica, Angel, Justin, Buddy, and Tracey; three great-grandchildren, Dayton, Carson, and Brooklyn; two sisters, Jean (Dick) Sosbe, and Donna Christopher; and lots of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Billy Gene "Bo" Adkins, and Joseph Adkins.
The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. on Friday at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home with Pastor Ron Hurlocker officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery.
