Patrick James Schneider, 27, of Hayward, Wisconsin tragically lost his life Friday, February 28, 2014 in a fatal vehicle accident.
Patrick was born in Elgin, Illinois on June 30, 1986, the son of Douglas and Jane Schneider (McDonough). His family moved up to Hayward in 1997. He graduated from Hayward High School in 2004 and this is where he called home. After graduation he fulfilled his dream of becoming an electrician. Through his dedication, hard work, and determination, within three years, he became a foreman and then earned the title of Senior Foreman/Construction Manager. He was also recognized as "Electrician of the Year" in 2012.
He loved hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, bowling, hillbilly horseshoes, bags, camping and dancing. He especially loved spending time with his family and friends cooking, playing cards, and listening to music. No matter where he was, or what he did, he always made people laugh and brought a smile to their face. His infectious laugh, classic smile, and unique sense of humor brought joy to all and will be greatly missed.
Patrick is survived by his parents, Douglas and Jane Schneider (McDonough) and his sister Lory; his paternal grandfather Larry (Mary) Schneider; maternal grandmother Connie (Dowell) McDonough; paternal great grandfather Arthur Stadie; An Aunt, Dheanne (Schneider) Whitson, and uncle James (Sharon) McDonough; Cousins; Danielle, Joshua, Jacob, Rachael, Grace and many other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his paternal great grandmother Florence (Gruber) Stadie, paternal grandmother Nancy (Stadie) Schneider, maternal great grandfather Earl Dowell Sr, and cousin Joseph Whitson who he thought of as a brother.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 5th at 5pm- 8pm and Celebration of Life will be on Thursday, March 6th at 1pm. All services will be held at Anderson-Nathan-Koerpel Funeral Home on Hwy B, in Hayward, Wisconsin.
