Patsy Bianchi, 93, of Solvay, went home to be with the Lord Saturday August 17, 2013 at Upstate University Hospital surrounded by his family. He was born in Gere Lock to the late Domenic and Constanco (DiMascio) Bianchi in 1920. Patsy was a US Army Veteran of World War II. Along with his wife, he owned and operated the Syracuse Mushroom Company in Belle Isle for over 30 years. Patsy will be greatly missed, not being seen in his favorite booth at Mama Nancy's. He was a member of First Christian Assembly Church of Syracuse. He was predeceased by his wife of 65 years, Eugenia in 2011 and his son, Ronald in 1992.
Surviving are 2 daughters, Nancy (Anthony Rinaldi) Bianchi, of Fayetteville and Sandra (Frank) Accordino, of Syracuse, 4 grandchildren, Tammy (Doug) LaLone, Timothy (Michele) Corrente, Jason (Charity) and Tracie Bianchi, 15 great grandchildren, Danielle, Anthony, Benjamin, Tyler, Nicole, Anthony, Alexander, Daniel, Bianca, Lauren, Ronald, Abigail, Sophia, Peter and Lydia, a sister, Elaine Frateschi, of Lyncourt and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 10 am in BAGOZZI TWINS FUNERAL HOME, Solvay. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Warners. Calling hours are from 4 to 7 pm Tuesday at BAGOZZI TWINS FUNERAL HOME, 2601 Milton Ave.
