Paul Bavaro, 94, of Pomona Avenue, Providence, passed away January 1, 2013 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Center.
Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Gabriele and Anna (Caparco) Bavaro. He had been the husband of the late Assunta "Sue" (DiPaolo) Bavaro.
Paul worked as an insurance agent for Met Life before retiring.
He was the father of Paul Bavaro and his wife Darlene; grandfather of Paul David Bavaro and Gail Ann Ullman; great-grandfather of Nicholas Ullman; brother of Lisa Lombardi and the late Louis and Frank Bavaro and Rose Marzella.
Visiting hours are respectfully omitted. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday at 10 a.m. in St. Augustine Church, 639 Mount Pleasant Avenue, Providence.
