Paul Eugene Brown, age 77, died at Orlando Regional Medical Center in Orlando, Florida, on Tuesday, September 10, 2013. Born May 24, 1936, in Vida, Missouri; in addition, he lived in Tennessee, Illinois, and Georgia before settling in Orlando, Florida. Paul started his career with Capital Airlines in 1955 at Midway Airport in Chicago, Illinois. Paul was a proud Army Veteran and served his active duty time in Germany. Upon his return he worked for a total of 43 years for United Airlines until his retirement in 1999. After that, he served as director for the Retired United Airlines Employees Association for Alabama and Florida. Survivors include his wife Helga, sons Clay and David Brown, brother David and Freda Brown Independence, Missouri; sister Faye and Jerry Gaddy, Liberty, Missouri; sister Jewel Logan and Bill Smith, Plano, Texas; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Services will be held at 11:30 am, Saturday, September, 21, 2013, at Carey Hand Colonial Funeral Home, 2811 Curry Ford Road, Orlando, Florida 32806; (www.careyhandcolonialfh.com). Burial will be held in private at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida.
