Greensboro: Mr. Paul Noble Howard, III, passed away at his residence Sunday afternoon. A native of Greensboro, Paul was the son of the late Julia Ross and Paul N. Howard, Jr.
A true Georgia Bulldog, he earned his Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Georgia. Following his graduation he became the co-owner of the legendary Younts-DeBoe Co. clothiers for men until its downtown closing.
Paul is survived by his sister, Katherine H. Glenn and her husband Alan; brother, David Howard and his wife Martha; niece Julianne Howard; nephews James Glenn, Howard Glenn, Ross Howard, and Ben Howard; and special friends Brinton Wright, and Butch, Barbara, and Michelle Edwards.
The family will gather with friends at the home of David and Martha Howard, 1303 Briarcliff Rd on Thursday evening from 6-8 PM. A private committal is planned on Friday for the family.
