Baxter, Peter W. Resident of West Allis. Passed away Saturday, February 19, 2011 at the age of 87 years. Beloved husband of Ruth Baxter of 63 years. Father of Thomas (Lynette) Baxter and James (Diane) Baxter. Grandfather of Andrew (Emily), Rachel, Anna, Margo, Todd, and McKenna (Joe). Great-grandfather of Callaway. Further survived by sisters, Nina (Jerry) and Eileen, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Peter served in the US Army during World War II, was employed as a tool and die maker for 35 years and he was an avid golfer. In lieu of flowers, contributions to Jordan Lutheran Church appreciated.
Visitation Thursday, February 24, 2011 at Jordan Lutheran Church (1642 S 77th St. - West Allis) from 10-11 AM with Funeral Service at 11 AM. Burial at Evergreen Cemetery in Ft. Atkinson, WI on Thursday at 2 PM.
