Peter Brady, 75, resident of Valley Cottage, peacefully passed away on June 16, 2012. He was a very kind and loving man, full of humor and a positive spirit. He would always help anyone in need. Peter's strength and perseverance shined through with his optimistic outlook on life. Born and raised in Ireland, Peter learned to appreciate the beauty of nature and animals, especially English Setters.
Peter is survived by his wife Patricia, five children: Peter Jr., George, Deirdre, Siobhan, and Taryn, and four grandchildren. He was 1 of 11 children and loved all of his siblings dearly. Peter's unique wit and genuine demeanor will be missed by his family and friends. Family will receive friends on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9pm at Higgins Funeral Home in Congers, NY. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, 10am, at St. Paul's Church, Congers, NY, followed by interment at Gethsemane Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Lung Association in support of Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis.
