Quentin E. Prall, age 92, of Pyramid Avenue, Deltona died April 22, 2012 at Florida Hospital Fish Memorial in Orange City, Florida.
Mr. Prall was born on March 3, 1920 in Ionia, Michigan, the son of Frederick and Sophie Sander Prall. He served with the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a prison guard for 30 years for the Michigan State Correctional Facility prior to his retirement. He loved to travel and lead a very spiritual life, as well as assisting others with their spiritual needs.
He was predeceased by his wifes, Irene Brown, Ruby Harper and his parents.
He is survived by a daughter, Sharon Prall; a stepson, Henry W. (Sue) Harper IV and a stepdaughter, Marie (Michael) Canine; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Friends may call on Monday, April 30th from 10 - 11 am at Deltona Memorial Funeral Home, 1295 Saxon Boulevard, Orange City, FL., PH: 386-775-4260. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 11 am following visitation with Nelson Hom of the Living Water Free Methodist Church of Orange City officiating. Burial will immediately follow in Deltona Memorial Gardens in Orange City. Military rites will be accorded by the U.S. Army Honors Team and the DeBary V.F.W. Post # 8093.
