Robert Arndt, 87, passed away on Saturday, April 16, 2011 at Indian River Medical Center, Vero Beach, FL.
Born in Joliet, IL he has been a resident of Vero Beach, FL for the past 33 years formerly of East Orange, NJ.
Prior to retirement, Robert owned a taxi cab company in Newark, NJ and was a truck driver for many years.
Survivors include, wife of 65 years, Dorothy Arndt, of Vero Beach, FL, daughter, Priscilla Mulgeri, of Vero Beach, FL 4 grandchildren, Denise Roebuck, Tracey Barker, Dominique Scott and Dominick Malgeri, Jr., 9 great grandchildren, Anthony Malgeri, Priscilla Cavill, William Scott, IV, Emily Roebuck, Katie Roebuck, Landon Roebuck, Ireland Barker, Matthew Barker and London Scott.
A visitation will be held on Monday, April 25, 2011 at Aycock Funeral Home, Fort Pierce, FL form 5:00-7:00pm. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2011 at St. Augustine of Canterbury Episcopal Church, Vero Beach, FL at 11:00am, with Rev. Michael Goldberg officiating.
