Rachel Geneva (Martin) Jones "Pete" was born July 2nd, 1921 to Henry and Ida Jane (Robinson) Martin on a farm near Milburn Oklahoma. The youngest of 9 children, all preceded her in death.
The family moved to a farm near Rocky Oklahoma when she was 7 years old. They later moved to a farm west of Dill City, OK, 9 miles west of Cordell, OK. She attended school at Dill then moved to Oakland, CA during World War II living with her oldest brother Bill. While there she met her late husband Harold when he was stationed at Alameda CA in the Navy. After the war they moved to New York his home state for 7 months then moved back to Oklahoma.
To this union was born 4 girls; Carolyn, Sherry, Ella and Debbie. One son, Harold Leslie whom preceded her in death in 1969 during the Vietnam War. She had a special son-in-law Terry, 11 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
