DZIWURA, RAYMOND Age 86, dear husband of Belen, died Monday, July 23, 2012. Funeral Mass will be held 10 a.m. Thursday, July 26, 2012, at the All Saints Catholic Church, 4063 W. Pierson Road, Flint, followed by entombment at New Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Fr. Anthony Majchrowski will officiate. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Reigle Funeral Home, 5501 W. Pierson Road, Flushing. The Rosary will be prayed at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Funeral Home. Prayers will be said at the funeral home on Thursday morning at 9 a.m. followed by the procession to the Church. Raymond was born in Flint, MI, to parents Joseph and Verna (Schaffer) Dziwura. He was married to his wife, Belen (Perez) Dziwura, for 59 years. Raymond was a graduate of Flint Northern High School and was a veteran of the Korean War. He retired as a Civil Engineer from the City of Flint. Raymond was a daily communicant, a member of the Secular Franciscan Order, an avid handball player at the YMCA, and an accomplished carpenter and pianist. Raymond is survived by his wife, Belen; children: Veronica (Anthony) Lazzarino, Christine (Robert) Martinez, Joseph (AnitaRose), and Mary (John) Young; his thirteen grandchildren: Franco, Gianfilippo, Elisa, Alexandra, Anthony, Javier, Pilar Rocio, Sebastian, Joseph, James, John, Andrew, and Maria; great-granddaughter, Mimi; and all of Raymond's dear handball friends. Raymond was an example of strong faith, hope, and charity towards his family and community.
