Reba Jo Henard Bailey, age 82, of Bean Station, passed away at Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare Systems following an extended illness. She was a member of Big Hill Missionary Baptist Church of Mooresburg. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Mary Henard; her beloved son, Timmy Bailey; and sisters, Ruth McDaniel and Faye Coffey.
She is survived by her caring sister, Bland (Jarrell) Haun of Whitesburg; daughters, Sheila (B.J.) Harbin of Morristown, Angie (Darren) Parrish of Rutledge; grandchildren, David (Kim) Helton of Rutledge, Sonya Ausmus of Morristown; great-grandchildren, Bo, Sammy, Mark, and Matthew Helton, and Jake Ausmus; a very wonderful niece, Debbie (Herbert) Price and nephew, Steve (Tammy) McDaniel; two loving nieces, Sandy Lakins and Shari Winburn; two very dear friends, Georgia Maples and Elsie Edwards; and several great nieces and nephews.
The family wants to extend special thanks to Dr. Gupta and his staff, Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare Systems, Covenant Hospice, and her home nurse, Donna Ramsey.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 14, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. in the chapel of Stubblefield Funeral Home. Pastor David Helton will officiate. Greg Trent will provide the music. Family and friends will gather in Hamblen Memory Gardens on Wednesday, February 15th at 10:50 a.m. for an 11:00 a.m. graveside service. Pallbearers will be Steve McDaniel, Rhett McDaniel, Herbert Price, Jonah Price, Michael Murphy, and Jarrell Haun. The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening at the funeral home from 5 – 7:00 p.m. prior to the services.
