Upon their divorce, he moved to San Antonio where he later met Milly Oliver and her 6 children. They married in 1970 and he was transferred to Smithville in June 1973 with the railroad. Milly and Reggie welcomed their daughter Nancy into the world on December 13, 1975.

Reggie will be remembered by his family as the man who married that woman and raised all those girls even though he didn't have to!! He was a true Dallas Cowboys fan who loved those guys even in the bad years!! He also loved the Baylor Bears, Willie Nelson and the Democratic Party. He never met a Craftsman tool he didn't like.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Grace Lutheran Church "new van fund" as Reggie proudly drove the church bus for many years so that elderly members could attend church services or a charity of your choice.
Services were held on Wednesday, December 12th at Grace Lutheran Church with interment at Oak Hill Cemetery in Smithville.
