Mr. Reginald Allan Arrington, 69 of High Point passed away June 3rd at his home.
Mr. Arrington was born Feb. 6, 1942 in Brunswick County, VA to Raymond Thaddeus and Lucy Frances Callis Arrington. He had been a resident of Virginia until moving to High Point in 1966. Mr. Arrington was previously employed for 44 years with Thomas Built Buses, having retired in May 2010. He was of the Baptist Faith. Mr. Arrington was preceded in death by a brother and sister-in-law: Raymond T. Arrington Jr. and wife Doris of Columbia, SC. On December 21, 1963 he married Rebecca "Becky" Phillips who survives of the home.
Also surviving are two daughters: Tamara Mullins and husband Michael of Hickory, Judy Mazas and husband Jose of Sophia; two sons: Reginald Allan Arrington, Jr. and fiance Catherine Foster of Asheboro, and Raymond Gray Arrington and spouse Timothy Preston Taylor of High Point.
Mr. Arrington has one sister: Gloria Cliborne and husband Earl of Chase City, VA. And two brothers, William Arrington and wife Valerie of Kembridge, VA and Phil Arrington and wife Mary Lou of South Hill VA.
There are ten grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 4:00 p.m. in Albertson Road Baptist Church with the Reverend Ernest Mangum officiating. Burial will follow the service in Guilford Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday at the church from 2:00 until 4:00pm prior to the service.
