Remedios Mesina Alapide
November 18, 1940 – July 17, 2012
Remedios Mesina Alapide passed away at age 71, while at home on July 17, 2012, in Falls Church, Virginia. She was born to the late Pablo Mesina and Victoriana Mesina, November 18, 1940, in the Philippines. She was also married to the late Conrado M. Alapide.
She was most proud of her spiritual home at Crossroads Baptist Church located in Falls Church, VA. Remedios was passionate and loved her rose garden as well as making sure everyone was always well fed.
She was the proud mother of Adeluisa and husband Al Paras, Pablito and wifeBernardita Alapide, Alejandre and wife Teresita Alapide, and Alicia and husband Jolly Taman.
Remedios had nine grandchildren, and one great grandchild in which she all loved and cherished. Her life influenced her three brothers, six sisters, along with a host of relatives and friends.
There will be a celebration of her Home Coming Service at the National Funeral Home on Friday from 3:00pm – 9:00pm (service will start at 7:00pm), and Sunday from 2:00pm – 8:00pm (service will start at approximately 6:00pm). The final service will be held at Crossroads Baptist Church, 5811 Hoffmans Lane, Bailey's Crossroads, VA 22041 on Monday July 23, 2012, at 10:00am.
