Richard Mont Mustard, 78, died peacefully in his home surrounded by his family, on Tuesday, April 29th, 2014, 7:15am.
Dick was born on September 5th, 1935 in Clarks, Nebraska, to Clyde and Mildred Mustard.
He grew up in Clarks and graduated from Clarks High School in 1954. He met the love of his life, Rosie Swedenburg, in kindergarten. They were married on February 5th, 1956 and start their family with the birth of Mitch (1957), Trudy (1958), Mark (1960) and Rick (1964). The lived in Clarks, Denver and Littleton, where they retired. Dick and Rose enjoyed spending time with family and friends, dancing, off road racing and traveling in their RV.
Dick is survived by his wife Rose Mustard of 58 years, his children; Mitch (Jeffra) Mustard, Trudy (Shawn) Whitney, Mark (Lori) Mustard and Rick Mustard, grandchildren; Trish (Justin) Lowry, Sara (Chris) Mack, Cale (Chelsea) Whitney, Rachel Whitney, Alyssa Mustard, Elizabeth Mustard and Cameron Mustard, great-grandchildren; Emma Lowry and Kobi Mack. Preceding him in death were his parents Clyde and Mildred Mustard and six siblings; Wilma, Frances, Donald, Clyde Jr., Neil and Jackie.
A memorial service celebrating Dick's life will be held Saturday, May 10, 2014, 11am at Arvada United Methodist Church.
