Rick G. Abrahamson, age 61 of Esko, passed away peacefully Wednesday, November 1, 2011, at Essentia Health-St. Mary's, with his family at his side. Rick was born December 28, 1949 in Duluth to Carl and Bernice (Lewis) Abrahamson. He was a 1968 graduate of Duluth Central High School. After graduating Rick served with the Minnesota Air National Guard. On November 7, 1970 he married Brenda Miller. Rick worked in food service for over 35 years.
Rick enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, spending time with friends and family, especially his grandchildren and dogs.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Rick is survived by his wife, Brenda; son Brent, of Duluth and daughter Sheri (Chad) Cooke, of Dululth; grandchildren, Makayla, Kyle, Kody and Konner; brother, Gary (Sandy), of Maple Grove; niece, Lori and nephewes, Jeff, Jon (Lisa); many other relatives and friends.
