Rev. Ricky William Edwards, age 63 of Acworth passed on December 8, 2012. Funeral services will be held 11:00am Friday, December 14, 2012 from the chapel of Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home in Kennesaw. Rick was a veteran with the Air Force and will be laid to rest in The Georgia National Cemetery at 1:30pm on Friday, December 14, 2012. He was preceded in death by his mother, Margaret Edwards and is survived by his wife, Mary Paulette Edwards; father, Leonard Edwards; son, Gary W. (Dominique) Edwards; daughter, Carrie L. (Darin) Martin; sisters, Debbie Long, Pat Lewis, Linda Bell, Billie Jo Upton; grandchildren, Drew Martin, Tobyn Martin, Sarah Edwards and Samuel Edwards.
The family will receive friends Thursday, December 13, 2012 from 2pm until 8pm at the funeral home.
