Rita lived her entire life in Ventura except to attend Pacific Lutheran College in Tacoma, Washington. In California they vacationed in San Diego, San Francisco, Santa Barbara, Pebble Beach, Carmel, Lake Tahoe and various locations around the state to attend conferences with Jim.
