Rita M. (Donais) Crook, age 87, of Swansea died Monday, January 7, 2013 in Somerset Ridge. She was the wife of the late Francis E. Crook.
Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Arthur and Edith (Holden) Donais, she lived in Swansea for the past 49 years. She was a member of the American Legion Auxillary, enjoyed cooking and taking trips to Foxwoods.
She is survived by two sons; John Crook of Tiverton, RI, Stephen Crook and his wife Deborah of Akron, OH, two daughters; Kathleen Sullivan and her husband William of Swansea and Ann Antunes and her husband William all of Swansea, ten grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was sister of the late John Donais.
Her funeral will be held Thursday, January 10, 2013 at 9:00AM from the WARING-SULLVIAN HOME OF MEMORIAL TRIBURTE at BIRCHCREST, 189 Gardner's Neck Rd. Swansea followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00AM in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 530 Gardner's Neck Rd. Swansea, 02777. Visiting hours Wednesday from 4:00 to 7:00PM. Burial in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Fall River. Contributions in her honor may be made to St. Francis of Assisi Church, 270 Ocean Grove Ave. Swansea, MA 02777.
