R. Louise Bates, 82, of Yakima died Wednesday in Yakima. She was born in Jonesboro, LA.
Survivors include her husband, John Creel Bates, Jr. of Yakima; four sons, JHerry smith of Yakima, John smith of Jonesboro, John Bates III of Mabton and Jim Bates of Tieton; three daughters, Belita Berry of Goldendale, Marilyn Loomis of Yakima and Debra Canen of Santa claus, IN; a sister, Lois Smith of Jonesboro; and 20 grandchildren.
A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Langevin-Mussetter Funeral Home.
