Robert M. Edwards "Spider", 49, of Garden City passed away June 13, 2012. He was always the life of the party and sang karaoke; he especially loved singing southern rock. As much as he enjoyed singing and living life to the fullest, the important thing to him was his family.
He is preceded in death by his father, Gordon M. Edwards; his two sisters, Patricia Stafford and Sharon Peavy.
He is survived by his mother, Betty Edwards; three daughters, Ashlee Smith (Ryan), Brandi Hodges (Michael), and Tiffany Shuman; one son, Robert Shuman (Kandace); two sisters, Debra Messex and Cathy Evans; four grandchildren, Jacob, Savanna, Briannah, and Taylor.
Visitation will be held from 6-8 pm on Friday night at Fairhaven Funeral Home, Garden City Chapel. Funeral Services will be at 11 am on Saturday at Fairhaven Funeral Home, Garden City Chapel with the Burial taking place at Northside Cemetery in Pembroke.
