Mr. Robert Jennings Adwell, age 61, was a Native Nashvillian. He passed away peacefully surrounding by his family and friends on Sunday, February 26, 2012. He was born on May 25, 1950 to Velda Mai (Jennings) & the late Charles E. Adwell, Sr. Robert graduated in 1970 from Tennessee Technological University, later establishing Adwell Cobb Interiors with his life partner of 37 years. He attended 2nd Presbyterian Church. He is survived by his Life Partner, William E. Cobb; Mother, Velda Mai Adwell; Brother, Charles E. Adwell, Jr.; Sister, Beth (James W.) Allen; Nephew, Christopher James Allen; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Memorial Services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, March 10th 2012 at 2nd Presbyterian Church 3511 Belmont Blvd. Nashville, Tennessee 37215. The family will receive friends at the church from 9 a.m. until time of services at 11 a.m. Those who wish may make donations in Robert's honor, to the Vanderbilt-Ingram Pancreas cancer Center Research Fund.
