Robert Walter Armstrong, age 88, passed away October 31, 2009 after a brief illness. He was born January 28, 1921. He married Alma Rose Grimstad in 1949. They had 61 years together.
Robert was born in Vancouver, BC and was raised in Bellingham, WA and attended the Vancouver School for the Deaf. He raised his family and lived in the Greenlake area of Seattle. He retired from the Washington State Health Department.
Robert is preceded in death by his son Peder Armstrong. He is survived by his wife, Alma Armstrong, daughter Deborah Ferguson, son-in-law Quinn Ferguson.
Robert was a devoted husband and loving father and will be deeply missed by his family. Funeral Services will be Thursday, November 5th at 1PM at Denny Park Lutheran Church 766 John St. Seattle, WA 98109. A reception will follow the service. A Private family graveside will be held at Acacia Memorial Park.
