Robert Mallory Bartelmay, 75, of Indian Rocks Beach, FL, formerly of Morton, IL, passed away on Friday, July 15, 2011 while on vacation at his cabin in Sioux Narrows, ON.
He was born on October 8, 1935 in Mallorytown, ON to John and Myrtle Mallory. Both his parents had passed away by the time he was three; he was adopted by his aunt and uncle, Robert A and Mabel Bartelmay.
He married Sandy (Sis) Stinchfield January 30, 1958. She preceded him in death October 9, 2010. He and his wife Sandy spent every summer at their cabin on Lake of the Woods in Sioux Narrows, Ontario, Canada which is where they had met and fell in love and where he will be laid to rest next to her.
He is survived by his children, Lorri Marshall, Peggy Sue Thompson and Robert C Bartelmay all of Largo, FL, thirteen grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren.
A Graveside Service will be held Friday, July 22, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. at Pine Ridge Cemetery in Sioux Narrows, ON.
