Bauman, Robert C. "Bob", 91, of West Melbourne passed away Friday, Jan. 4th,at Weustoff Hospice House. Beloved husband of Marie for 62 years, Bob was a native of Paterson, New Jersey. He came to the Melbourne area in 1982 from Wanaque, New Jersey. Bob had been a branch manager for the Sun Life Financial company in Wayne, New Jersey. He was affiliated with Ascension Catholic Church here in Melbourne. A US Marine veteran of WWII he was a corporal prior to his discharge and a member of the VFW.
Other survivors include his two sons: Robert, Jr. (Robin) of Princeton, NJ, Jeffrey of Melbourne; two daughters: Lori (Wayne) Tapie of San Jose, CA, Phyllis Sullivan of West Melbourne; three grandchildren: Kerry Chau, Thomas Sullivan, Jeremy Bloch; and four great-grandchildren.
Bob was pre-deceased by his brother, Henry and his son-in-law Donald.
Funeral services will be Tuesday morning at 10:00 AM in the Fountainhead Funeral Chapel 7359 Babcock Street SE Palm Bay with Deacon Sergio Colon officiating. Entombment will follow in Fountainhead Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday morning from 9:00 AM until the time of services. Fountainhead Funeral Home is in charge of services.
