Robert A. Benge, 79, of Independence, MO passed away peacefully with family at his side on June 19, 2012 at Centerpoint Medical Center. Robert was born July 21, 1932 in Drakesville, Iowa to John and Sarah Benge. He was loved by many and will be dearly missed by all.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 45 yrs Carmen Benge and daughter Josephine Aquino.
Robert is survived by his children: Mary H. Rodriguez (Tony), Robert Benge (Heather), Roberta Brown (Mike) and 10 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren 4 great great grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 9:30 a.m. Friday, June 22, 2012 at Christ the King Catholic Church, 85th and Wornall, Kansas City, Mo. With visitation at 8:30 a.m. preceding the Mass. Burial will be at St. Mary's Cemetery, Kansas City, Mo.
