Robert H. Nicks – A native and resident of Mobile, AL died Wednesday, May 2, 2012 in a local health care facility. He was a WWII veteran who served in the United States Marine Corps during Iwo Jima and Saipan. He retired with the U.S. Postal Service and Mobile County Racing Commission. Mr. Nicks was preceded in death by his wife, Constance A. Nicks. He is survived by three children, Robert F. Nicks, Mobile, AL, Carron A. (Gary A.) Armstrong, Dallas, TX and Theresa N. (Richard W.) McClure, Mobile, AL; two grandchildren, Zachary and Haley Armstrong. Funeral services will be Saturday, May 5, 2012, at 11 a.m. from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home beginning at 9 a.m. prior to services. Interment will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
