Rochelle Lynda Blevins of Wapato, 24, passed away Monday July 16, 2012 at her home. She was born in Yakima on August 6, 1987 to Michelle (Yniguez) and David T. Blevins. Rochelle attended White Swan High School and her favorite childhood memories were fishing, hunting, and playing softball.
As an adult, Rochelle remained friends with her class mates from school and enjoyed music, movies, attending local Christian churches, facebook, and texting friends. She also loved her job at the Yakama Housing Authority but her favorite time was spent with her family; sisters Erica and Americas and her children Aaron and Kasandra. She loved going with her family to the Columbia River and to the mountains.
Rochelle is survived by her children Aaron and Kasandra Moore; her parents Michelle (Yniguez) and David T. Blevins; and her sisters Erica and Americas. She was preceded in death by grandmother Evelyn (Seelatsee) Yniguez; aunt Julia Mae Yniguez; and first cousin Jessica Whitefoot.
Dressing Service will be held Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. at Merritt Funeral Home.
A Funeral Service will be on Thursday at 8 a.m. also at Merritt FuneralHome with interment to follow at the Toppenish Creek Cemetery.
